Today I was joined by LA singer/songwriter Harrison Kipner for the radio debut of his new single Get Down, which drops this Friday!

With lockdown turning the world upside down lately, Harrison talked about how the removal of any possibility to perform completely transformed his writing process. “[Get Down] was something I never thought I’d release because I didn’t know how I would play it live… But now there are no live shows” he explained. Whilst nobody knows when or how gigs will return, Harrison described how this has allowed him to stop worrying about how a song will work within a live set, and just focus on releasing what he wants to release. He also gave us the back stories behind the artwork and music video, as well as discussing the pros and cons of being a third generation artist, with a successful father and grandfather coming before him.
