This time last month we were rushing for Christmas; well I say rush, moving about in our home clicking online. I guess the next wonder is valentines, as you can’t be forgetting that in a hurry or you could be in the dog house, in your house. I’m actually looking forward to these things more, as it a spectator sport watching people flap; albeit via social media at the moment. The ‘I don’t go in for all this commercial claptrap’ versus the ‘Oh it is so wonderfully lovely and splendid’.
I love the earnestness both camps get into over such things, the importance, the lack of, the often one-upmanship etc, it makes the devil in me smile.
So on this week’s chat bitwise- I asked, What annual event, thing or celebration do you take seriously and yet those around you any more often being dismissive- or vice versa?
