Listen again to this weeks GR80’s show:
Birthday this week include Tom Bailey (Thomson Twins) and Paul Young who both turn 65!
DAVID BOWIE
Five years ago, on the 10th January 2016 we sadly lost the brilliant David Bowie. He was known as musical chameleon for his ever-changing appearance and sound, but was also an accomplished actor. In 1986, he starred as Jareth, the Goblin King, in the fantasy-adventure film Labyrinth which became a cult classic. To me, like many, David Bowie was a genius, and I’m delighted to play a few of his 80’s hits on this show to celebrate his life.
