This week we saw a happy Saturday afternoon for both of our local Football League clubs, who were able to welcome a limited number of supporters to home matches for the first time this season.

Leyton Orient moved into the League Two play-off spots with an excellent 2-1 victory over leaders Newport County.

And in the same division Southend United, boosted after having their transfer embargo lifted, were able to welcome new faces into their side including James Oleyinka, whose goal saw them secure a 1-0 win over Scunthorpe United at Roots Hall.
