It was good to be back presenting the show this week after a fortnight’s absence, but it wasn’t such a great afternoon for some of our local football sides who did manage to play.

Leyton Orient dropped out of the League Two play-off spots following a 2-0 reversal at Scunthorpe United. Southend United did manage a point with a goalless draw away to fellow strugglers Stevenage, but the Shrimpers remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

In the National League, Dagenham & Redbridge slipped to a 2-1 loss at Aldershot Town and there was a fourth defeat in a row for National League South side Chelmsford City, as their hosts Havant & Waterlooville ran out 3-1 winners.
