This Weeks “Happy Talk”!
This weeks happy story is from a regular listener, she says… Could you please play a song for the special man in my life.
It’s his 68th birthday but in another way it’s also his first.
It’s the first birthday since he almost died. In fact on the 7th of January this year, he did die for a short time and if it wasn’t for the actions of a quick thinking hero, (to whom I’ll always be grateful)………I would have lost him.
That’s why this birthday is so extra special, being the first one that he nearly didn’t see.
It’s the reason that I’m hoping you will play a song with words that mean a lot to both of us.
It’s a song that he has sung to me on various occasions over the years and on this very special day, I’d like to dedicate it to him with the wish that there will be many more years for us to go through, and the hope that they will all be a bit more fun than the last twelve months.
So Jon, I’m asking you to please play Through The Years by Kenny Rogers for my lovely man: Bob Garlick, and to wish him a very happy birthday with all my love always.
