The New Music Show showcases the very best in new music from across the genres. Listen every Friday at 6pm as Matt Horton presents a selection of the freshest tracks from your favourite artists and brand new names which you need in your life.

On this week’s show, we chat to 14 year old James Gold about his campaign to help out a very important cause. The Hermit Club, Brentwood is one of the only underage live music venues in Essex and is an incredibly important place for the community of young music fans in the area. With current Government guidelines threatening the closure of live music venues across the country, James has begun fundraising for the venue, to ensure it will stay open after the pandemic.

If you would like to donate to James’ cause then you find more information here.
