It’s not been the year that any of us had planned, so getting our kicks where we can has become everyone’s guilty pleasure – and alcohol has certainly been no exception. But when the standard Gin and Tonic or Voddy and Coke just doesn’t cut it (occasions rising …) a cocktail can really hit that sweet spot.

For our resident Head Mixologist, Charlie, cocktails are a science. Each combination of flavours evokes a new experience – throw in the smoke from Bourbon Smoked woodchips, dry-ice, infused tea and some bubbles and you’ve awakened every sense.

It’s no longer about just mixing up and sending out the flavoured Martinis every night, a Cocktail can be personal and exceptional. “Here at Players Lounge our goal is to take great Cocktail recipes and turn them into masterpieces. Mixology is more than just great tasting cocktails; it’s an occasion- our smoke tricks and flamboyant bar style adds a depth and complexity to cocktails you simply can’t get anywhere else”, says Charlie.

Whilst the Cocktail Menu at Players is extensive, with specials added regularly, you don’t need to know exactly what you want to order confidently. Is Gin your thing?
