Our latest artist feature sees up meeting Los Angeles Trap producer Kilo House.
Tell us a little bit about your yourself?
I am Kilo House, a Trap producer based out LA, California. A respected alumni of the world renown Icon Collective and the founder of the genre Terror trap. And oh ya, I’m crippled.
When did you first start to develop a passion for music?
I have always loved music ever since I can remember.
Which artists did you listen to while growing up?
I listened to a wide variety of music growing up, spanning from Blink 182 to Roger Miller but fell in love with the DEATHCORE genre in my teens and never looked back.
How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t heard you before?
It is a drop oriented for of trap music that mixes the normal Trap elements with terrifying horror movie vibes.
What music have you recorded and released to date?
Too much to name – LOL. (You can see it all on Spotify).
Which artists do you enjoy listening to at the moment – and do they influence your work?
I listen to a lot of metal bands such as Job For A Cowboy, Oceano, I Declare War and As Blood Runs Black. But also a lot of $uicideBoy$ and Hopsin.
Sonically $uicideBoys$ have a huge impact on my sound but I think my high energy drops and industrial sounds are a result of my years of listening to metal.
Who would your dream collaboration be with?
I think it would be dope to collab with Travis Barker. He not only has had a huge impact on me as a drummer but me as an individual as well.
What are your plans for the future?
To continue to spread Light and Love through my paradoxical macabre Trap music.
