Heavyweight roots, rock reggae dub-plate style this week – two hours of non-stop hard tunes for all you lovers of blues dance and sound system clashes from back in the day. Featured artist this week is Cornel Campbell, a veteran Jamaican singer, known for his falsetto singing voice, which he often used to great effect to convey frustration, sadness and despair. His career spanned six decades, but I have chosen three tracks from the rub-a-dub era of the early 80s. Other music this week from Don Carlos, Gregory Isaacs and Johnny Osbourne.
