The weather took its toll on the cricket schedule this Saturday, as England’s test match with Pakistan along with county and local fixtures were interrupted.

But there was still plenty to discuss as we still had some football, racing and snooker, the latter having witnessed what will surely go down as two of the all-time great World Championship semi-finals during the week.

As always I found the time to play a variety of great music. Here is this week’s playlist:

Andrew Gold – Lonely Boy

Travis – A Ghost

Johnny Hates Jazz – New Day Ahead

Beabadoobee – Care

ABC – Poison Arrow

July Talk – Governess Shadow

Lenny Kravitz – Ride

Bellamy Brothers – Let Your Love Flow

Paul Weller – Village

Hoosiers – Goodbye Mr A

Joe Jackson – Stepping Out

John Farnham – You’re The Voice

Blondfire – Marigold

Melanie C – Blame It On Me

Whispers – Rock Steady

Oscar Lang – Apple Juice

Jaded Hearts Club – Reach Out I’ll Be There

Rolling Stones – Tumbling Dice

Vix20 – Try Again

David Bowie – Space Oddity

Equals – Funky Like A Train

Electric Light Orchestra – Rock n’ Roll Is King

Blanks – Favourite Nightmare

Screens – The Boy Who Waved At Trains

Katy Perry – Smile

Grace Jones – Pull Up To The Bumper

Abi Flynn – Courage

Carrie Martin and Gordon Giltrap – Time After Time
