Whilst most Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charities admirably raise money for much needed medical research, Challenging MND sets out to create memorable challenges for people living with MND, giving them; their friends; and families; lifelong memories that can never be taken away.
Their aim is to ensure that there are no obstacles, whether it be financial or training equipment, preventing these amazing challenges from happening.

Six people per day are diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), with most people being given a prognosis of 2-3 years.
Inspired by Alex Gibson who was diagnosed in 2018, CHALLENGING MND was set up with the mission to provide financial support and assistance to those living with MND, to complete any lasting memorable challenges.
MND is a debilitating progressive disease which involves degeneration of the motor neurones and wasting of muscles.
Throughout the deterioration of the functioning of the body, the mind remains sharp and unaffected, making the importance of memorable occasions invaluable.
Our mission is to ensure there are no financial obstacles preventing you from creating these amazing memories.
The promotion and protection of good health among those suffering with Motor Neuron Disease, by improving their quality of life through the provision of a financial grant to enable them to complete a particular event or challenge.
