It has been a great experience bringing you these great house music tunes. Especially during these troubling times I hope it provides you a chance to sit back and relax and appreciate what a great sound this was not only when these songs first touched our airwaves but again when music provides us a chance for us all to come together.
It has given me a new appreciation of the house scene – one that I am proud enough to say I was part of in my youth when friends and I used to club at a number of music establishments throughout London. It was a great time to be young, no ties and only the worry we had was which night bus would get us home – or from a really good night out how long until the first underground tube started running again.
I also seem to recall an attempt at live DJ’ing – purchasing some turntables and a mixer – suffice it did not last long. More on that to come later…!
