Dave Lee Travis the Hairy Cornflake from Up the M1 came on to Drivetime this Bank Holiday Monday as I asked him to pop in on the phone so that I could sing him Happy Birthday. It was his 75th birthday and I thought it would be nice to commemorate this day. If it wasn’t for Dave and a few other classic Radio 1 dj’s I don’t think I would’ve been inspired to become a radio presenter for He and a few others instilled my love of radio in my soul, So Thank you Dave.
