We’ve been playing out Mistakes, the debut single from Ed Golfo recently and we spoke to him to find out a little bit more about his music.

Tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am 30, Italian, originally from Trento but I now live in Bolzano.

How did you start your musical career?

I started playing spontaneously on a keyboard as a preschooler. Music is my way to express emotions.

Is there any one particular genre of music you prefer listening to?

I listened to wide genres of music – music has been my passion for a long time. It’s very important in my musical development.

How would you describe your sound now?

EDM – uplifting funky disco dance.

Which other artists influence you?

Daft Punk, Phoenix, Justice, Simian, Air.

If you could choose one to collaborate with, who would it be?

Daft Punk

Do you have any plans for the future?

No fixed plans, let’s go with the flow!
