Those fortunate enough to have tickets can enter the Cheltenham Racecourse at 10:30 and will watch the first race at 13:30 in The JCB Triumph Hurdle.

The second race of Friday at the Cheltenham Festival is The Randox Health County Handicap Hurdle Race at 14:10, which is followed by The Albert Bartlett  Novices’ Hurdle Race at 14:50.

Then comes the main event, where eyes across the country will all be focused on and millions of pounds will be wagered upon. The Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup Steeple Chase takes place at 15:30 and this year’s prize fund stands at a huge £625,000.

Once that has been completed, the attention then goes back to the 16:10 The St. James’s Place Foxhunter Steeple Chase Challenge Cup and the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Handicap Chase at 16:50.
