The Weekend Wind Up – Saturday 1 February

Hi there!

Thank you to everyone who tuned into the show on Saturday – I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

With a playlist that included Madonna, Celine Dion, The Rolling Stones, The Fizz, Stevie Nicks and Hunter Hayes there was certainly something for all musical tastes!

But not only that, I was very lucky to be joined in the studio by Nick Nolan – or Nicky Trix as you may know him. Magician, ventriloquist, comedian and all round entertainer who was the perfect guest – funny, chatty and had a good story to tell. I hope you found him as interesting as I did.

Listen to our interview below and why not pop along to see him in action at the Thameside Theatre in February. Check him out on Facebook and Instagram.

And I’ll see you next Saturday at midday for more weekend music. In the meantime, if you’d like something played or have a shout out for someone special get in touch. Email the studio on radio@phoenixfm.com or find me on twitter @SpenPhoenix.

Have a great week!
