Hashtag United move up to 2nd after a 4-1 win over Redbridge. George Smith put in a good shift as he nothced a hat-trick, being joined on the score sheet by Albert Keith. Redbridge replied with a Connor Okus consolation and remain 9th after this result.

 

Saffron Walden Town 1 Tower Hamlets 0

Saffron Walden Town have a five point lead at the top of the table after a very late goal saw them take all the spoils against Tower Hamlets. The goal finally came deep into stoppage time, coming in the 6th minute after the scheduled 90, with Gavin Cockman scoring the winner that broke Tower Hamlets’ hearts.

 

Southend Manor 0 West Essex 3

West Essex claimed a welcome away win at Southchurch Park as goals from Emmanuel Olowule, Brad Russell and Michael Mignot saw the Stags claim a 3-0 win which was made sweeter by Jack Coker and his defence keeping a clean sheet at the other end. West Essex end the day in 10th, while Southend Manor sit in 17th.

 

Sporting Bengal United 1 Hadley 5

Hadley finally returned to winning ways having drawn their last two league games.. Bradley Barrett opened the Hadley scoring in the 12th minute, which was doubled six minutes later when Sam Edwards hit the target. Curtley McIntosh was able to pull one back for the hosts ten minutes before the break, however the second period saw the Bricks score three furhter goals which were supplied by Cameron Ferguson, Manny Hammond and Jeremy Atwore.

 

St Margaretbury 0 Clapton 1

The Tons beat St Margaretsbury 1-0 in their last league encounter on the 8th January. On Saturday they achieved a double over St Margaretsbury with another 1-0 victory: the goal coming via Jamie Age. For the Tons it means it means they are now starting to swim away from relegation waters and move up to 15th. The hosts are now winless in eleven and as a result now sit 14th.
