The Decibellas – Make Some Noise
Last night 14th July 2019 was the launch of (girl band) The Decibellas album – Make Some Noise, and they chose Phoenix FM’s Open Mic Night at The Hermit Club for the occasion.
They played the entire album (10 songs) back to back, which is a big ask for 3 young kids. They were fantastic, and so talented. The girls (Maisie, Alisa and Mia) are all 14 and under and between they they play drums, keyboards and guitars oh and they can sing.
I would like to thank everyone who was involved last night from sound engineers to management and not forgetting the audience and of course all those who bought the album.
I have had the task of coming up with the bands first single, and that decision alone was tough as all the songs are brilliant. I have however made a decision and I will be choosing “Once Upon a Time” (written by Alicia). I will be placing this track into my Sunday Sessions Local Chart Show as soon as possible and will definitley be playing this a lot.
