Those pesky emotions…part 2, sort of.

Following on from our previous chat about those pesky emotions, we decided to do a part 2. However, in preparing for this show, just how different we express ourselves became even more evident.

As two people who often marvel on their similarities, it is always interesting when how we differ rears it head. One of us is snappy, the other is basically Yoda, one of us is obvious in our emotions whilst the other buries them, one of us is softer in our approach and the other is blunt as heck. Like ying and yang, those differences work though.

We’ve discovered that there is no ”right way” to deal with things, there is right way to be who you are.

And so we display our differences with pride, through music.

Now, some of Jazzy COUTTSSS’ music is…interesting to my ears. But, she exposes me to things I may not have had the opportunity to hear had I not known her.

So, I guess the point of this week’s show is simple – yes, we are all different. With our emotions, styles, types and musical tastes and many other things. But, we’re also more similar than we realise.

In the current political and social climate, it can feel like there is a world between us all. We get so caught up in identity politics that we forget that we have more that joins us than seperates us. We all bleed red.

Take the time to find out your similarities, and celebrate your differences. You may be surprised.
