Award-winning home improvement specialists SEH BAC have launched a competition to find a worthy person or family in Essex in need of £10,000 worth of new windows and doors.

And entries are now open to nominate yourself or a family member for this fantastic prize.

For the last two years SEH BAC has run a community giveaway project with spectacular results, donating £10,000 worth of windows and doors to a community building in need.

The West Cliff Theatre in Clacton-on-Sea was the first grateful recipient and that was followed by the Rayne Village Hall.

This time, they are making the competition more personal.

“Both community giveaway projects have been roaring successes and we received a huge amount of nominations, so this year we thought we’d run it with a twist,” explained SEH BAC’s Managing Director John Savage.

“It was great to do something for the whole local community, but this year we really wanted to help transform the home of a person or family in real need of our services.

“I suppose it’s our very own version of DIY SOS, so rather than offering to refurbish a community building, we will offer to refurbish a person or family’s home and potentially help someone who might be in a difficult position.”

The Suffolk-based SEH BAC, one of the UK’s largest window, door and conservatory installers, has been installing to homes for more than 45 years.

John added: “We want to find a worthy person or family in need of our help so if you are a homeowner, or know of a homeowner, who’s had a change in circumstances and may require our help, we would love to hear from you.”
