Synth City: Digital may Kill the stage star

SC8

As we try to busy ourselves along with the distracting weird weather of May, hoping to get ready for Summer. I pondered the future of indoor music gigs, as we recall the standard fare of light shows move to have pyrotechnics to lasers, to confetti cannons and even the modern day big screen stage monitor element has evolved to allow for more emersion of light effects. So, are these types of gig enhancements getting better or worse, are the detracting from the core reason to see a band or artist or are they just giving a greater value? Then there is the talk of 3D an virtual reality acts taking more a place in this world, as technology gets better- What do you think?

New tracks this week on the show came from Shiny Darkness – Subclass – Embrace The Crisis – Channel 69 – Night Motion – Electric City Cowboys – Buzzing Sound Candy, plus a few new remixes and a nice selection of classics.
