Saturday Sports Show Round Up – 18 May 2019

So, sorry for the delay in getting this post up. As you will have recalled, the show on 18th May saw me interview Dan Furlong – who by now is on his epic charity event. He is taking on a death-defying 5 day 230km run through the Amazon Rainforest in order to support people struggling with the debilitating condition of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Good luck….

He spoke about this and his battles with his own mental health. He spoke at great length about the problems he has faced in the past and how he sought the help he needed to take back control of his life. It was a truly moving interview and provided some inspirational advice and help for those perhaps experiencing some of the issues we discussed and where the help is available.

You can here the full interview here (now I have worked out how to crop and save from the Phoenix FM’s archives). You can now find the interview a few weeks prior with representatives from Dagenham and Redbridge Ladies Football Team linked to the previous blog post.
