Sunday Breakfast Show: 2 To Soothe – April 2019

The month of April saw Easter, and the London Marathon.  I wasn’t in the studio on the latter Sunday, as I was a proud dad watching my 21 year old complete his first marathon!

I did however play the following soothers that month.

Lisa Stansfield – All Woman

Mica Paris – So Good

Nina Nesbitt – Is It Really Me You’re Missing

Jimmy Ruffin – What Becomes of the Broken Hearted

Julian Cope – China Doll

The Style Council – You’re The Best Thing

The video I’ve chosen is China Doll.  A single back in 1989, this shows the more accessible side of Mr Cope.
