Roof over your head? Running Water? Breathing??? You have something to be grateful for then. This week Jazzy COUTTTSSSS (insert dodgy voice I always insist on doing) discussed the things in life that are important to us and that we are grateful for.
If you watch the news/read the papers etc. then you know how filled with misery the world can seem. But let us pause for a second and look around us, there’s a hell of a lot of amazing things to be happy about and in awe of. We discuss the little and big things that bring us peace and joy in a world that moves so fast it feels like at times we can’t keep up.
As two people who have a lot of experience with mental health issues, we both understand the power of pausing for a few minutes to acknowledge what we’re grateful for and the incredible things around us.
So pause, look at your snoring partner and be grateful they love you, look at the sunrise/sunset and notice the colours, call your friend and enjoy that you can speak to someone you care for with a couple of taps on a phone.
We’re all in this world together, bad things happen and we can’t fix everything – but we can sure as hell enjoy the amazing things on offer.
