Synth City: To be seen and not heard

SC8
It is lovely to be able to say we had a very sunny Easter Bank holiday weekend in Brentwood and even better to have an easter egg hunt of sorts, at Phoenix 98FM; well I found a lonely Creme egg hiding in the radio station’s kitchen and set about claiming it.

Whilst that was all pleasant treat, it was just as nice to have aircon in the studio to keep myself cool, and talking of keeping cool. I spoke on my chatty bit about how some of us at music gigs these days get annoyed by people who attend and chat loudly or do things as if there was no live gig, this insulting the band on stage and annoy the paying audience- I did say that we are sort of used to people filming gigs, but loud chatter and stupid show off antics is a new bore game. We also discussed up and coming London gigs; to which I will watch out for any of the loud ones again.

This week we had yet more lovely international delights, as we had new tracks from Vogon Poetry – Color Theory – Valley of the Crow – Static Shore – Model Depose – Zero Call – Electric City Cowboys, as well as a few classic artists and recent faves.
