This weeks number 1 is Jasmine Hood with her cover of Etta James track Somethings Got A Hold of Me. This was recorded LIVE at The Phoenix FM Open Mic on Monday, and with a close run battle with Joshua Lord she managed to keep hold of her lead all week, but it was close all the way.

Jasmine’s debut single was ‘Bothered With You. She’s currently studying at The Sylvia Young Theatre School studying the Performing Arts Industry. She has performed alongside Robbie Williams singing on stage with him at the Palladium, as well as backing vocals with Dionne Bromfield. Her debut single ‘Bothered With You’ – is about her experiences of being bullied and how she has coped with the situations. You can download her song on Spotify and iTunes now!
