First up tonight I was joined in the studio by Gallow Wood frontman Talon Payne. The Chelmsford-based foursome have just released a new single, Blood Lust (complete with suitably gory video!), and are currently working on more new material as a follow-up to their debut This is How it Ends. Their next gig is at Chelmsford’s Hideaways venue on March 15th, and stay tuned to their Facebook, Twitter and (if you dare!) YouTube pages for more!
Next up I was joined by Tom, Scott and Aaron from The Lightscopes. They’ve just released their debut single In My Head and have had a busy few weeks of gigging, including a set at Brentwood’s own Essex Arms. They’re back on the live scene next month with sets at Soho’s Spice of Life on March 8th – stay tuned to their Facebook and Instagram pages for more! Click above to listen back to the interview, including discussions on an unusual discovery of their name, their first London gig, and at least one awkward silence… Then click below to watch them playing live in the studio!
