THIS WEEK Mike Peters – Lead singer of The Alarm is made and MBE for his work for cancer charities in North Wales
He commented “MBE must stand for a multitude of Brilliant efforts because that’s what lies behind everything that I’ve achieved”

THIS WEEK Nick Mason – drummer from Pink Floyd is appointed a CBE for his services to music. Nick is the only Pink Floyd member to have been featured on all of their studio albums, and the only constant member of the band since its formation in 1965.
