17 year old Ben Charles from Hutton has been putting on a Christmas light show synchronised to music at his home in Alpha Road for the last four years.

Ben spends many hours throughout the year assembling and sequencing the lights to various festive music. The neighbours love it and a few hundred people have visited over the last few weeks too.

So far he has raised £330 for charity and he has nominated the Essex + Herts Air Ambulance’s ‘Lights for Flights’ campaign as his chosen good cause. It’s a very worthwhile charity that receives no funding other than donations to keep their life-saving operations running.
