DONATIONS FOR COOL TO BE KIND/THE RUCKSACK PROJECT CHELMSFORD

Michelle Ward was joined by Karen Sinclair to talk about the COOL TO BE KIND/THE RUCKSACK PROJECT.

INTERVIEW 

“Essex Youth Offending Team are running a Christmas project (From Friday 23rd November till end of January) in conjunction with Cool to be Kind /The Rucksack Project Chelmsford.

The young people at Essex Youth Offending Team will be collecting donations from libraries across Essex and their young people are putting the donations together and filling the rucksacks for the project which will be distributed both locally and across Essex and further.

Essex Youth Offending Service have set up donation drop off points across Essex in the following libraries (and also in Gateway FM Radio Station Basildon):

Billericay
Brentwood
Chelmsford
Gt Baddow
SWFerrers
Colchester
Clacton
Harlow

They welcome donations of:

Sleeping Bags/Rucksacks
Fleeces/Warm Coat
Tracksuit Bottoms
Thick Socks/Gloves
Cans with ringpulls/Spoons
Toothpaste/brushes/mouthwash
New underwear
Wooly Hats/Flasks
Deodorant/Wipes
Cereal Bars
Boiled Sweets
