I powered through the last show of November this week, despite the woes of, what maybe manflu- not that I said a word on the subject. Though Dr Mabuse did help me, I still found time to raise my thoughts on an new expression that fills me with a degree of disquiet. ‘Smarts’! to use your smarts…. I know we have Smarty pants but this expression is supposed to be about clever ability or skill, seems to stick in my mind as a bit of a dumb expression to me. What is Smart, is a clever Smart-plug I purchased in my moment of commercial weakness during the annual spending joke that is Black Friday. I can npw turn stuff on or off with my voice or the press of a app button, whatever that is plugged into my smart-plug, where ever I am- and that makes me feel a real smarty.
On the music front of the show, we endulged in a few heroes and the odd classic track along the way this week, and we were queit the ecclectic track picking being, with this weeks new selections of music.
