I was joined once more today, by Essex based author David Dunford, who’s just written a new book all about the time that Buffalo Bill spent in Essex.

Who would have guessed that a man who had been a Pony Express rider and a Cavalry Scout in the American Civil War and who had hobnobbed with the likes of  Kit Carson and Annie Oakley  would have visited our county?

But amazingly he did all those things.

Meanwhile in the second hour of today’s show, we reported on a strange story which has just emerged from Peru, where a woman claims that a doll given to her by her mother as a Christmas present has become possessed, attacking both her boyfriend and cousin and throwing things all over the place!

Whilst I’m not going so far as to say that I don’t believe her, I do wonder if she might be in need of some medical attention. What say you?
