Today we let you in on a secret of how one woman is raking in around £100,000 a year.
Property investor, 33- year old Roxy Sykes (love the name, by the way) has been making it big for the past 4 years, not in property investment as you might believe – but no – she sells her smelly socks on line to foot fetishists!
After someone complimented her on the “beauty” of her feet, she set up an instagram account which quickly attracted 10,000 followers a month. She then started selling her unwashed socks for £20 a pair and shoes for £200 a time.
After initially starting up her side project as just a social media account, Roxy knew she had to progress further if she wanted to keep up with the competition.
She said: ‘Posting photos and videos of my feet was all well and good, but people always wanted more and wanted to physically own something to do with my feet.
How about her toenails? There’s an idea for her.
Amazingly even whilst in business meetings, she takes pictures of her feet under the table and posts them on line, resulting in an influx of orders. After launching her business on a variety of websites, she found herself raking in £2000 a week from one website alone. A single video of her wiggling her toes, would go for £100.
Roxy sees this as a long term project and believes that the earnings are so good, she can’t see herself ever pulling the plug on it.
So when she gets home from a hard days work, rather than putting her feet up, she puts them to work.
‘It’s great to be able to get home from a normal working day and know I can make a bit of extra money from a photo of my feet,” she said.
Indeed she is now expanding the business by training different models on how to break into the fetish industry and make money for themselves.
Well I never! Well not yet anyway!
