Essex County Cricket Club have announced that Shane Snater has signed his first professional contract and will remain with the Club until the conclusion of the 2019 season.
The 22-year-old featured 3 times for Essex Eagles in the Royal London One-Day Cup this year, taking 5 wickets at an average of 26.80. Snater also played in the Vitality Blast, making his Essex Eagles T20 debut against Kent Spitfires in August.
Snater is elated to sign his first professional contract and said: “I’m really happy to have signed my first professional contract with Essex. I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far and hopefully I can push on next year, make a further impression and play as many games as possible.
“I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity and I’m excited to see what the future holds for me at the Club.”
