Blimey it is only the last show of the month of August and some say the end of the Summer of 2018, well I like to hope it extent as I’m not really finished with it yet, in fact I’ve not started. However, I asked about highlights of the summer from Listerners, and as per usual I was put to shame with their activities galour, and from far & wide. That will teach me to not take any holiday leave or do cool things; well I did do stuff, but clearly not enough.
Still I always have the joy to have found so many new tracks this summer and as this is the last show of Summer, I had a few new belters. From a Gary Numan inspired remix from Church of Trees, to New tracks from The Rude Awakening ft Bridget Gray – Soft Cell – Twist Helix – Le Groupe Fantasique – Train To Spain – TheTCR – Goteki, plus it was nice to play a few classics and the odd remix, with yet more gig news and wisdom you couldn’t shake a stick at… well you should.
