THIS WEEK in 1986
Lionel Richie released his 3rd studio album “Dancing on the Ceiling” in the US where it went to #1 on the Billboard chart. It reached #2 here in the UK and sold over 5 million copies worldwide. One of the tracks on the album, “Say You, Say Me” won an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.
