LAKESIDE’s Kyle Newman has received some positive news regarding his collarbone injury.

The Hammers’ middle-order man crashed out of Friday’s win over Berwick and was withdrawn due to a suspected broken collarbone.

But x-rays show no broken bones and that the AC joint between the shoulder and collarbone is displaced.

Newman will require physiotherapy and is likely to miss the upcoming home and away fixtures against Scunthorpe – but could feature in the trip to Peterborough on June 29.
