Can you believe that it’s 29 years since Batman was released in June 1989! It was directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. It was shot at Pinewood Studios from October 1988 to January 1989, other locations included Knebworth House and Hatfield House doubled for Wayne Manor. The film was a critical and financial success, earning over $400 million at the box office.
