Is this the greatest episode of the show so far? Probably not. But it was certainly the most inflammatory. Cracking like a mini-egg under the pressures of “East-pril Fool’s Day”, Jordan goes in hard on Transgender stripper names, Islamophobic introductions, killing with kindness, comic book movies, Ricky Gervais’ “Humanity”, Greater Anglia rail service and who is “Lola”???

After a few weeks of solo broadcasting, Jordan welcomes fellow comics Sallyann Fellowes and Paul Ennis to the Phoenix FM studio for a right ruddy natter. The trio dissect the virtues, merits and limitations of “edgy comedy”. Sallyann questions the nature of the “roadside shoe” and Liam Gallagher’s “peanut head”. Paul confesses to a “Birthday bump” assault.

Episode 41: Roddy Shaw

Standing in for the scheduled guest (may his ankle rest in peace) comedian and conservationist Roddy Shaw lights up the Phoenix FM studio with tales of zombie gap years, and the majestic narwhal (all the majesty of a unicorn and a dolphin). Jordan and Roddy bond over the equally majestic Vaporean (look it up) as well as a shared enthusiasm for the Animorphs children’s book and a powerful disdain for the Toffee dating app.

Episode 43 opens with a visit from The Little Company pedalling “The Full Monty” musical @ The Place Theatre, Westcliff 16-19th May – DETAILS BELOW). Chris and Julian, both bollock naked, regale tales of backstage banter and last minute gym workouts.
Jordan runs out the remaining 1hr 54min with storing of tongue biting, palm oil, knocking out pigeons and Morrisey being a twat. Regular listener Allysa Pentolfe gives creative-birth to the new feature “Funny But True” and Jordan improvises musical links like a motha-flippa!
