Folk singer Tom Page brought his ukulele to the studio and sang three tracks live. From Galway to Graceland was a sad tale about a woman selling up in Ireland and going to be at Graceland, claiming that she had been married to Elvis Presley. Sip, jigs and reels had the feel of a sea shanty. Moonlight was a quieter, thoughtful piece. Tom chatted with Jonty about playing the instrument and singing lessons. He also engaged in a general chat about Lent, encouraging us to take up something that enhances us spiritually. There was a general thought around being more considerate to others. In the second hour we had an extended feature about Dennis Edwards, second lead singer with the Temptations, who led them into a more experimental genre of soul music in the late 1960s. There were also exclusive tracks from Lisa Harman and Sophie Griffiths.
