THE Saint Francis Hospice Big Yellow Quiz is on March 23, at the Brentwood Centre. The local charity has teamed up with Brentwood and Billericay’s Phoenix FM to make sure quizzers will have a fantastically fun evening.
Sarah Williamson, head of community, corporate and events fundraising at the hospice Said: “This event is so popular because of our wonderful supporters and we always want to give them a good night out, so we’re thrilled to have the BBC Eggheads participating.
“Our clever quizzers can look forward to challenging Barry Simmons, Steve Cook, Kevin Ashman, Beth Webster and Chris Hughes in one of our speciality rounds.
“Knowing that we have the support of Brentwood’s local radio station is fantastic news, they are helping us spread the word that Brentwood’s biggest quiz of the year is back.
“In 2017 we had 650 quizzers we want to beat that number this year.”
Paul Golder, station manager at Phoenix FM said: “We are delighted to get involved with the Big Yellow Quiz, it’s a great event on our patch, we always do what we can to support Saint Francis Hospice.
“Mike Jones, presenter of our show ‘One 2 Three’ will act as compere on the evening so it will be a fun and lively affair.”
