I want more for my money!

On today’s show I was joined by GAVIN PERRETT of HAWKHURST ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS.

Given the derisory rates of interest being offered by banks and building societies of late, Gavin explained about some of the other investment opportunities that are available, and which, dependent upon individual circumstances, and future plans, might be worth consideration.

A team from Gavin’s company, HAWKHURST ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS are holding a seminar on Wednesday evening from 6:30pm at the Mary Green Manor Hotel on London Road, right here in Brentwood, but if that’s not convenient for you, they’ll be back again later in the year – in April, July and September – so plenty of opportunities there.

In the meantime, if you missed what Gavin told me, or if you just want a re-cap, you can listen here to what he had to say on this subject to help you decide if this is an option for you: –

Later in the programme we heard about one man who didn’t want to answer any questions.

He is the Prime Minister of Thailand no less, who sidestepped questions from journalists assembled at a press conference by the simple technique of bringing out a life-sized cardboard cut out of himself and telling them to ‘ask this guy’ if they had ‘any questions on politics or conflict.’

He then turned on his heels and walked off, leaving the mock-up behind to bemused looks and awkward laughter from the assembled media.

Mind you I can think of some politicians who’s cardboard cut outs might prove more informative!

On that note I’ll see you again tomorrow,
Scott
