First up tonight I was joined in the studio by Feral Child and Tommy from Longy & the Gospel Trash. You may recall Feral Child when he accompanied Longy for his first appearance on the show back in October 2013. Since then, accompanying Longy as the Gospel Trash, the six-piece have just released a live album, Songs from the Seaside, recorded at Southend’s Railway Hotel, with a view to recording their next EP in the new year. In the meantime though, since April Longy has been on a mission to play 500 gigs in 500 different venues in a year – after playing all over London and at a few festivals, he’s on a brief tour of South Africa just before Christmas, will be back in the new year. Click above to listen back to Tommy & Feral Child reveal what gig number he’s up to and their favourite gigs from the marathon to date! Find out more on Longy at

Next up was the return of The Royals (l-r Charlie, Ben, Tom, George). Since joining us in the studio back in January, the foursome are currently working on a new EP, which we got a sample of tonight with a live session. The EP – entitled A Crack in the Glass – will be out soon and they’ll be returning to the live circuit possibly even sooner! In the meantime, check out the Royals on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
