Prokit UK Essex Olympian League
Defending Champions Springfield are up to third and face-off with leaders May & Baker E.C. on Saturday. A win for Springfield moves them up to second and two points behind the leaders. Should May & Baker win it then extends their lead even further. Games such as this will sort out who the real title candidates are and both teams will be fully aware of this when they take to the field. Manford Way are fourth and will be hoping to keep in touch with the top spot. To do so they must pick up all the points on offer at local rivals Frenford. Bishop’s Stortford Swifts can keep themselves in the pack if they can beat Canning Town. The East London side won the corresponding fixture 2-0, then won two and drew one from their next three which moved them away from the drop zone, before last time out being beaten 4-0 by May & Baker E.C.
