On today’s show we looked at holidays, past and present.
First off we looked at the all new Club 18-30.
But this new holiday enterprise is not aimed at youngsters looking for a bit of holiday “nookie”.
Indeed the target base are those who tip the scales at between 18 and 30 stone!
The accommodation, located in Eleuthera, Bahamas has been specially built with wider doorways, sturdier chairs and re-inforced beds!
And what’s more the buffet is always topped up with the tastiest foods whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner.
One of holidaymakers, 24 stone AMI, said, ‘I could jump in the pool and not worry about how big a splash I made or I can lie on a sun lounger made from strong Brazilian wood, so I didn’t have to worry about breaking it.”
Well if the client base hit the scales at between 18 and 30 stone on the way there, what must they weigh on the return journey and do they have to have special flights laid on, I wonder!
Later Margaret Mills returned to reveal details of a favourite haunt of King Henry VIII’s who used to hang out for his bit of “nookie” at Jericho Priory, near Blackmore.
