Takeley lead the table but face a Hullbridge Sports side on Saturday who may be in buoyant mood having won an FA Vase replay on Tuesday at Colney Heath. The hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Basildon United in midweek and that clash of the top two means that Takeley maintain a two point lead at the top. Home form could mean its Takeley taking all the points but Hullbridge can make it difficult for them if they turn up in the right frame of mind.
Basildon United welcome an improving Burnham Ramblers to the Stuart Bingham Stadium knowing that a win is not guaranteed as their visitors have won their last three games that has hauled them off the bottom spot. Ramblers finally shattered Redbridge’s winning run and so they are more than capable of taking something from one the of Division’s top sides. The Bees do have a potent strike force so Ramblers need to keep them quiet if they want to achieve anything from the game.
FC Romania’s win over Hackney Wick on Wednesday moved them to third in the table and they have a home encounter with Sporting Bengal United. The visitors did propel themselves into the top two earlier in the season but have lost their last six which has seen them plummet down the table. FC Romania suffered a dip in league form themselves but have won four and drawn one from their last five to put them back near the top of the table.
Great Wakering Rovers travel to Enfield 1893. The hosts have been floating around the bottom places but two wins and a draw from their last four games have seen them move up the table. Great Wakering have dropped down to fifth after losing their last two and will be hoping they can end that losing run with a win here.
