Friday Night Extra 27.10.17 with guests Tasmin & Polina from St. Thomas Music Foundation

St Thomas choirTasmin Graham & Polina Sosina came and talked about the new foundation set up to promote all the music at St.Thomas of Canterbury C of E church in Brentwood. Over 60 people, from young children to older people are part of the various choirs, music groups and orchestra. They said that for anyone interested in traditional church music, this was a great way to learn. They also spoke about the positive experience of being in a choir and singing with others. Polina described it as “living history keeping the tradition alive”.

Anyone interested who wanted to know more should check out the St. Thomas’ Music Foundation Facebook page or website. Sam Adams is the Director of Music and he can be e-mailed at stthomasdom@gmail.com There are lots of up-coming events including a carolling workshop for children aged 6-12 years on Saturday 16th of December at 1 pm.
