The Souless Ones

Hammer. Even to the non-horror obsessed, that name alone strikes images of sweeping moors, crumbling Gothic castles and Peter Cushing defeating Christopher Lee’s Dracula by opening the curtains (Dracula 1958). The name Hammer is quite simply, synonymous with Horror. And if you love horror, then you will love Hammer’s brand new live action theatre production; The Souless Ones.

Hammer House of Horror Live - The Soulless Ones 2

Horror theatre seems to have made a bit of a revival recently, but here we are offered something different. The immersive experience. The Souless Ones is live throughout October in Hoxton Hall, a very atmospheric 19th Century music hall. Expect as you pass through the doors to be enveloped by the heady Victorian Atmosphere. Abandon all hope as you cross the threshold and prepare to spend 2 hours in the company of mad scientists, psychics and supernatural beings and accompany them to their shocking final destination.

The setting for this production could not be better and as you would expect from hammer, the attention to detail is very high. Hoxton Hall is a large building and you are invited to explore it at your leisure throughout the course of the evenings entertainment. The Hall is packed with characters, who will let their stories unfold before you. You may chose to visit only a couple or rooms and let the actors come and go. Or you could wander around for the evening taking in as many of the different rooms as possible. Or maybe you will pick one character to follow around? The point is that you could see this show several times and never have quite the same experience twice.

Hammer House of Horror Live - The Soulless Ones

Whether you are a horror fan or not, for a truly unique, fun and scare filled evening then The Souless Ones is for you. But be quick! The vampires will be flying away by Halloween!
