Premier Division
May & Baker E.C. catapulted themselves to the top of the Premier Division after a 2-1 away win at Catholic United that takes their winning run to three – all of which have been garnered on the road. Conor Okus and Jamie Reddington contributed to this week’s road show; Catholic United scored their reply through Dan Williams.
Harold Wood Athletic had started the day leading the division but Kelvedon Hatch knocked them off their perch on route to recording their first win of the season. Lee Hamill and James Hughes scored the goals that cancelled out Chas Liddiard’s effort for Harold Wood.
Manford Way move up to third after a 3-0 home win over Basildon Town. Julian Edwards scored twice with Elliot Carter the other scorer.
Leigh Ramblers move out the drop zone and now sit tenth after they beat local rivals Rayleigh Town 2-0. The visitors needed the points just as much as the hosts but goals from Seb Allen and Justin Hazell seal a win that keeps Rayleigh Town bottom while providing their team their first win of the season that also moves them up the table a little bit.
